Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. No lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your billing dashboard at any time. Contact us to export your data after cancellation.

Question 3

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. During that period, contact us at privacy@simpleref.com.au and we will export your referrals, patients, and documents for you. If a free trial expires and you don’t subscribe, your data remains available for export on request for 14 days after the trial ends and is then permanently deleted. Your data is yours — we never hold it hostage.

How do referrals get into SimpleRef?

You can add referrals manually in seconds. Need to migrate existing data? Our team handles the import for you — a one-time setup fee applies. AI Intake, included in every plan, automatically reads uploaded referral letters and extracts the key details — no more retyping from fax or email.

How many doctors can I add?

Each plan includes a set number of doctor seats: Starter includes 4, Professional includes 10, and Enterprise offers unlimited doctor seats. Referrals, admin users, and staff users are unlimited on all plans.

What happens if I need more doctor seats?

Upgrade to the next tier for more seats. Starter includes 4, Professional includes 10, and Enterprise is unlimited. You can upgrade at any time from your billing dashboard — changes are pro-rated.

What’s the difference between the three plans?

All three plans — Starter ($299/mo), Professional ($499/mo), and Enterprise (custom) — include the same features, including AI Intake, email, and the full analytics dashboard. All prices include GST. The main differences are doctor seat limits (4, 10, or unlimited) and support level. SMS Integration is the only optional add-on, at $99/mo on any plan. Enterprise includes dedicated account management and priority support.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX via Stripe. Card details are entered with and held by Stripe — SimpleRef never stores your card number.

Yes. all prices shown on the website include GST. The GST component is itemised on your invoice.

Can I add or remove the SMS add-on anytime?

Yes. SMS Integration is the only optional add-on — $99/mo on any plan, pro-rated so you only pay for the time you use it. Add or remove it from your billing dashboard at any time. All prices include GST.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

Your patient and referral records are stored on Australian servers, with AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, and daily automated backups. Two things are processed outside Australia: Stripe handles billing (never clinical records), and when your team uploads a referral to AI Intake, that document is sent to Google’s AI service for extraction. AI Intake is included in every plan. Nothing is sent to Google unless someone uploads a document to it. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

Accepted Answer

No. SimpleRef is month-to-month on all plans. There are no annual commitments, no minimum terms, and no exit fees. Stay as long as it’s useful, leave whenever you want.
